Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for sending out PCC (program-controlled computer) strategy information. The service information provided to PCRF (policy and charging rules function) by AF (audio frequency) for making PCC rule is based on the converted IP (internet protocol) address and port number in an external grouping network, namely when a network address translation function entity is arranged, the PCRF acquires the address information of service strategy information which is not translated according to a NAT (network address translation) corresponding table generated by the network address translation function entity, performs the relevance and strategy decision for the service PCC strategy according to the address information of service strategy information which is not translated, and executes the PCC strategy rule supplying process to send the PCC rule to the PCEF (policy and charging enforcement function). By the using of the method and system, the PCRF correct relevance service strategy information is ensured and the PCC strategy rule is sent to the corresponding PCEF.
