Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system for monitoring and managing a municipal refuse transport vehicle, belonging to the technical field of vehicle management; the system comprises a vehicle information collection device, data wireless transmission and transfer equipment, a server, a client, a vehicle information database, a vehicle transportation route and operational parameter database, a special event processing database, a collaborative management database and a system management database. The vehicle information collection device collects and records the driving position, weight, driving speed and brake service condition of the vehicle. Parameters are sent to the server through the data wireless transmission and transfer equipment while recording. In the invention, the whole process of the refuse transportation is monitored so that the refuse transportation can follow the relevant laws and regulations of a traffic department, a public sanitation department and an urban construction department. Simultaneously, accurate evidence is provided for the administrative penalty of each law-enforcing department.
