Abstract

In the method, three grades of controllable switches are arranged on the front part, on the middle part and on the rear part of a charging system; simultaneously, a battery management circuit (BMS) is embedded into the charging system; the battery state and the charging operation are used as controlled objects; when the battery and a charging state accord with the requirement, the battery is charged; and when the battery state is abnormal, the charging stopping operation is realized sequentially by firstly cutting off the middle controllable switch to make the charging system in an underloading state, and secondarily cutting off the front switch and the rear switch to avoid damages to contacts caused by an arc discharge phenomenon generated by a heavy-load high current on the contacts so that the service life of the contacts is prolonged. The invention also provides a device for implementing the method. The device can realize an energy-saving and protection control technology of input zero power consumption in a high power charging standby state and output zero voltage at a charging port.
