Problems solved by technology

However, this method can only be applied to the case where the channel at the transmitter has no spatial correlation. When the channel at the transmitter has spatial correlation, the reliability of precoding is poor when the transmitter uses the GLP codebook at the receiver.

Embodiment Construction

[0028] Embodiments of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings, in which like reference numerals represent like elements.

[0029] refer to figure 1 , the method for eliminating the channel spatial correlation at the transmitting end of the present invention comprises the following steps:

[0030] Step S1, the receiving end selects the GLP codebook with the largest signal-to-drying ratio index from the receiving end codebook library according to the channel status information, as the layered structure codebook;

[0031] Step S2, the receiving end feeds back the serial number of the selected hierarchical codebook in the codebook library of the receiving end to the transmitting end;

[0032] Step S3, after the transmitter receives the codebook serial number fed back, it will select the GLP codebook w from the codebook database at the transmitter terminal according to the codebook serial number baseline ;

[0033] Step S4, for the signal to be...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for eliminating spatial correlation of a transmitting end channel. The method comprises the following steps that: a receiving end selects a good laboratory practice (GLP) codebook which has the maximum signal to interference plus noise ratio index and serves as a hierarchical structure codebook from a receiving end codebook library according to channel state information; the receiving end feeds a sequence number of the hierarchical structure codebook in the receiving end codebook library back to a transmitting end; the transmitting end selects a GLP codebook from a transmitting end codebook according to the sequence number of the codebook; and the transmitting end calculates the covariance matrix of a transmitting signal to be transmitted and standardizing the product of the extraction of a conjugate transpose of the covariance matrix of the transmitted signal and the GLP codebook so as to construct a new codebook. The codebook constructed by the method can eliminate the spatial correlation of the transmitting end channel, so that the transmitting end can pre-code without being influenced by the spatial correlation of the transmitting end channel. Moreover, in the method, when the receiving end feeds the sequence number of the codebook back to the transmitting end, an increment feedback mechanism is introduced, so that feedback overhead is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for eliminating channel spatial correlation at a transmitting end in downlink MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission of a wireless communication system. Background technique [0002] In a wireless communication system based on MIMO-OFDM, according to the position obtained by the precoding matrix, the linear precoding operation can be divided into a non-codebook precoding operation and a codebook-based precoding operation. The present invention mainly relates to a codebook-based precoding operation. Precoding operation. [0003] After the receiving end selects the precoding matrix from the codebook, it feeds back the sequence number of the precoding matrix in the codebook to the transmitting end, and the transmitting end receives the codebook sequence number (that is, the precoding matrix indicator (PMI)) to obtain the precoding matrix, Thus, the codebook-based precoding operation is performed. [0004] Ex...
