A access control method for a cabinet lock system of a large-consumer metering device comprises the following steps of: (1) configuring user access by using system software; (2) downloading the configured access data to a unlocking device in a wire or wireless mode; (3) verifying the information in the unlocking device by a lock cabinet, if the information is in accordance with the user access, executing the unlocking; if the information is not in accordance with the user access, non-executing the unlocking; (4) generating an unlocking record and storing the unlocking record in the cabinet lock and the unlocking device regardless of success of unlocking; and (5) uploading the unlocking record read by the cabinet lock and the unlocking device stored by the unlocking device to the system software in a wire or wireless communication mode by using the unlocking device.
