Abstract

The invention relates to a Chinese medicinal composition for treating chicken colibacillosis and a preparation method thereof. The Chinese medicinal composition is characterized by mainly comprising the following medicaments in part by weight: 7 to 11 parts of goldthread root, 12 to 16 parts of baikal skullcap root, 7 to 11 parts of gardenia, 7 to 11 parts of Chinese angelica root, 3 to 7 parts of red peony root, 9 to 13 parts of cortex moutan, 9 to 13 parts of akebia stem, 9 to 13 parts of rhizoma anemarrhenae, 9 to 13 parts of cinnamon, and 9 to 13 parts of licorice. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: (1) weighing the medicaments in part by weight as raw materials; (2) decocting the raw materials twice: for the first time, adding water in an amount which is ten times weight of the raw materials, soaking for 30 minutes and then decocting the raw material for 2.0 hours, and for the second time, adding water in an amount which is 10 times weight of the raw materials, and decocting the raw materials for 1.0 hours; and (3) combining the decoctions, filtering the mixture, and concentrating the filtrate into a clear paste of which the relative density is more than or equal to 1.05 (60 DEG C) to obtain a finished product. The Chinese medicinal composition has the advantages of quick absorption, obvious effect, high safety coefficient, no medicament residue and no toxic or side effect.
