Abstract

The invention provides a method for realizing a multi-image preview function of a set top box, comprising the steps of: capturing the video data in a program of the set top box to the internal memory space of a Video layer, then converting the data to a data format which can be displayed at a Still layer, and combining an OSD (On Screen Display) layer to realize the multi-image preview function of the set top box.
