The method comprises the following steps of: (1), providing a female 22 to 25-gram and 10-week-old Balb / c mouse of SPF animal grade; (2), providing a Buxco noninvasive detection system and putting the mouse in a plethysmogroph to allow the mouse to move freely, wherein the Buxco noninvasive closed plethysmogroph is connected with a sound monitoring device and a signal converter; and (3), stimulating the mouse to cough through atomized capsaicine stimulation liquid, monitoring the cough sound of the mouse in real time, recording sound waves by using sound analysis software, converting airflow change in the plethysmogroph into a respiration waveform by using Finepointe software, recording and automatically analyzing the respiration waveform in real time. The mouse cough sound and the respiration waveform can be simultaneously monitored by the method, so the method has the advantages of greatly reducing work intensity, saving work time, improving work efficiency, and contributing to the popularization and application of the mouse cough model.
