Some diesel oil additives exist in the current market, but the oil-saving effect is not quite obvious. The diesel oil smoke-eliminating and oil-saving additive comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 85 percent of diesel oil, 5 percent of ferrocene, 3 percent of cyclopentadiene hydroxymanganese, 4 percent of ethyl nitrate and 3 percent of triethylene tetramine. The components are just mixed, stirred and filtered. The invention provides the additive for the diesel oil as fuel.
