The network system at least comprises: a first client and a second client, central server and transfer server. The method comprises a first routing level to a second client acquired by a first client, and a second routing level to transfer server acquired by the first client, a third routing level to transfer server acquired by second client. Sum of the second routing level and third routing level and the first routing level are compared, data transmission path between the first and the second client are selected. The invention also discloses a device for preferably selecting the data transmission path between clients in network system comprising a transmission unit, a resolving unit, a routing analysis unit and a comparing unit. In the invention, data interaction between clients in different network environment is implemented in high transmission speed, largely enhancing user experience.
