Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-base station broadcasting system and a broadcasting method thereof. The broadcasting system is composed of a base station group controller, a plurality of base stations and at least one terminal, wherein the terminal is composed of a receiving unit; the base station group controller carries out space time coding on data to be sent so as to form code blocks, and sends data in the code blocks and the codes of the base stations to corresponding base stations; the base stations are used for sending the data and the code sequences of the base stations; and the receiving unit is used for receiving and decoding the data and the code sequences of the base stations. The broadcasting method comprises the steps: space time coding is carried out to the data to be sent so as to form the code blocks, and the data in the code blocks and the code sequences of the base stations are sent to the corresponding base stations; each base station sends the data and the code sequences of the base stations; and the receiving unit receives and decodes the data of the code blocks and the code sequences of the base stations. The invention achieves the purpose of reducing the influence of multipath effect through the effective combination of a multi-base station technology and a space time coding technology.
