Abstract

The invention provides a low-dose environment-friendly oil-saving agent which is composed of long chain fatty acid ester CH3(CH2)XCOO(CH2)YCH3 and long chain fatty alcohol CH3(CH2)ZOH, wherein, X is equal to 10 -18, Y is equal to 11-19 and Z is equal to 11-19; the proportion by weight thereof is 90-100% of CH3(CH2)XCOO(CH2)YCH3 and 0-10% of CH3(CH2)ZOH. The oil-saving agent has simple ingredients, does not contain any metal salt as well as halogen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphor and the like, and does not cause damage to equipment and environment. The oil-saving agent can be added in fuel oil at low dose with the proportion of 0.005-0.020% and has the functions of combustion supporting, lubrication and carbon deposition removing; road tests show that the oil-saving rate reaches 8%-15%. The oil-saving product has the advantages of low cost, small adding dose, safety, environmental protection, excellent performance, etc.
