Benefits of technology

This technology improves how data packets are sent between different networks by adding extra bytes during certain times when there may have more resources available for sending it than what was previously possible with only one message being used.

Problems solved by technology

Technical Problem addressed during the development phase of new communication systems called High Data Overage Services Enhance Group (HDSEGC)-LTE) involves optimizing signaling reception performance without compromising reliably communications between devices within one group. Existing methods like TCP/R are limited in their ability to accurately determine the device's type of coverage level.

Embodiment Construction

[0046] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0047] like figure 2 As shown, the embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:

[0048] Step 201, the UE sends initial signaling to carry indication information of whether to support HSPA capabilities, and if HSPA is supported, it will also carry HSPA physical layer capability category information;

[0049] Wherein, the initial signaling is an RRC connection request message or a cell update request message sent when a UE in a connected state enters a new cell through cell reselection.

[0050] The value of the indication information of the HSPA capability is one of the following three values: HSPA is not supported, HSDPA is only supported, and HSDPA and E-DCH are supported.

[0051] Wherein if the UE supports HSDPA, the HSDPA physical layer capability category information is carried in the RRC connection request or ce...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for transmitting signaling wireless load on high speed packet access channel, UE carries indication information for indicating whether to support HSPA ability when sending initial signaling; if the HSPA is supported, the UE also carries HSPA physical layer ability category information. By enhancing current 2 RRC message, the invention enables network side to obtain HSPA physical layer ability category of the UE, so that following signaling transmission can be realized via the HSPA channel in order to obtain higher transmission rate for user experience improvement. The invention provides limited bits increased according to the 2 RRC message with a simple procedure.
