Abstract

The invention relates to an LCD and a corresponding common voltage drive method. The LCD comprises a liquid crystal panel which comprises a first common voltage line, a second common voltage line, a common electrode line, a plurality of liquid crystal capacitances and a plurality of storing capacitances. Each liquid crystal capacitance comprises a common electrode and each storing capacitance comprises a storing capacitance electrode. A common voltage generator provides a common voltage for the storing capacitance electrode through the first common voltage line and at least one common voltage regenerator receives a feedback common voltage of the storing capacitance electrode through the second common voltage line and generates a regenerative common voltage according to the feedback common voltage which is charged to the common electrode through the common electrode line.
