Abstract

In order to solve the deflection problem of the gamma curve of a display caused by temperature change, the present invention provides a temperature compensation device which is used in a display for compensating the gamma curve of the display. The temperature compensation device comprises a temperature sensor, a storage unit and a temperature compensation unit. The temperature sensor is used for detecting the environmental temperature in the display; the storage unit is used for storing a plurality of numerical data; the temperature compensation unit is coupled with the temperature sensor and the storage unit, selects a numerical datum from a plurality of numerical data according to the environmental temperature detected by the temperature sensor, and transforms an original image datum into a compensation image datum through the selected numerical datum.
