[0040]In accordance with the present invention, the inventive absorbent insert comprises a compressed absorbent material that comprises particles as a filler dispersed therein, which improves stiffness / rigidity of the insert, and controls the absorbency of the compressed absorbent material, to result in an insert having a desired absorbency.
