Benefits of technology

The invention provides a leg pad for a hockey goalkeeper that can protect their leg from injury. The leg pad has a frontal, medial, and lateral portion that are positioned adjacent to the front, medial side, and lateral side of the leg when worn. The pad comprises an outer shell, an inner liner, and protective padding disposed between the outer shell and the inner liner. The protective padding can be made of different materials to control its rebound effect in different areas of the pad. The technical effect of the invention is to provide a more effective and precise protection for the hockey goalkeeper's leg during training and games.

Problems solved by technology

For example, in some cases, the synthetic leather or fabric may be limited in its ability to provide protection in and of itself and / or may require additional components to be added to the leg pad, such as fabric overlays for decoration and / or separate panels for attaching straps of the leg pad.
