Abstract

The invention provides an undistorted audio compression / decompression entropy coding device and method. The device includes buffer, time axis predictor and bit distributing entropy coder and decoder, thereinto the time axis predictor will make the preset value of point input signal value subtract the original input signal value to generate preset error signal. Then, the preset error signal is input into the bit distributing entropy decoder to code to data section with different length. The data section structure after the entropy coding includes file header information with 32bits, the real data is after the file header, but the data is actually the difference between the original value and the minimum value.
