Abstract

A thermocouple (6) for detecting the temperature of the tip end of an electrode needle (1) is provided. The thermocouple (6) is provided with a tip end connecting portion (18) at which the tip ends of a pair of coated elemental wires (8, 9) are connected together electrically, and a tip end coating portion formed by coating the tip end connecting portion (18) with polyolefin synthetic resin. The tip end coating portion is bonded and fixed to the electrode needle (1). Accordingly, a medical electrode needle device is provided which is formed compact by providing a thermocouple to an electrode needle, and can very accurately detect temperatures by means of a thermocouple.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a medical electrode needle device for puncturing an affected part and carrying out thermocoagulation and homeotherapy through high-frequency current. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, there is an electrode needle device that thermally coagulates the tissue of the affected part by supplying a high-frequency current to the electrode needle pierced into the affected part of the living body (for example, refer to Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2002-532186). [0003] Such an electrode needle device has an electrode needle whose tip is sharpened, and a high-frequency current is supplied to the electrode needle through electrically conductive lead wires connected thereto. The tip of the electrode needle is placed on the affected part, and the area around the tip of the electrode needle is heated by the supplied high-frequency current to thermally coagulate the tissue of the affected part. [0004] However, wh...
