Abstract

A battery pack locking apparatus for a portable terminal includes at least one locking groove formed on the battery pack and at least one locking protrusion which is positioned on the terminal in such a manner that it can linearly reciprocate and which is adapted to be engaged with the locking groove while the battery pack is mounted on the terminal, wherein the battery pack is adapted to be released from the terminal as the locking protrusion linearly reciprocate in the locking groove while being engaged with the locking groove.
