Embodiment Construction

[0028] Hereinafter, we describe embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0029] figure 1 The configuration of the communication network system including the load distribution system 3 according to the present invention is shown.

[0030] The load distribution system 3 is connected to a plurality of client terminal devices (hereinafter referred to as terminals) 1 (1-1 to 1-L) via a communication network 2 such as a LAN or the Internet.

[0031] The load distribution system 3 is composed of a load distribution device 4 connected to the communication network 2, a management server device 5 with a communication function with the load distribution device 4, a console 6 connected with the management server device, and the load distribution device 4. The connected service server devices 7 (7-1 to 7-N) and the database 8 connected to the service server devices 7 are constituted. In addition, the management server device 5 can communicate wi...

Abstract

In a load distribution system constituted by a plurality of service server devices and a load distribution device, service performance degradation caused by overload of requests to the service server device is prevented. The load distribution system is composed of a load distribution device (4) and a management server device (5) for statistical processing. The load distribution device outputs an access log of access to the service server device, and the management server device performs statistical processing of the access log. The management server device creates an operation plan for the service server device based on the statistical processing result, and notifies the load distribution device of the operation plan. The load distribution device controls distribution of requests to the service server device according to the notified operation plan.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a load distribution system for distributing access to a plurality of server devices, and more specifically, to a method of operating the load distribution device. Background technique [0002] The Internet is spreading rapidly, and it is now possible to provide services such as ticket sales at existing business windows through the Internet. Communication technology is also advancing, and an environment in which the same services can be enjoyed not only from homes and offices but also from mobile phones and the like is being prepared. [0003] Through the Internet, in a server device (hereinafter referred to as a service server device) that provides a service as described above, it is usually necessary to process requests from many client terminals, and one service server device cannot handle all requests. Therefore, for example, as described in Patent Document 1, it has been known that requests from many client termina...
