Abstract

The invention relates to a method to automatically updating network transmission parameter in digital television. It includes the following steps: first, choosing a video signal with network information form plural TV signal; second, checking the variety of parameter in network information and stored in digital television; finally, using new parameter to demodulate the programs, if demodulating successfully, updating the network parameter. The invention reads the network transmission parameter in different physical frequency ranges by analyzing the network transmission parameter of digital TV signal. When the parameter varies, it would automatically update. Thus, the invention can effectively assist manual input of user.
