Abstract

The invention relates to a sound-shaped coding method for inputting simplified Chinese characters. It is based on Chinese spelling and shape of the characters, and the code contains 4 digits. The first digit comes from initials corresponding to English letters on the keyboard. The second, third and fourth digits are of shape code. There are five kinds of strokes in Chinese characters. The fourth digit is of structural code based on structure of Chinese character including 3 structures: independent, upper and lower, left and right. The invention provides features of lower repeated rate, without need of remembering etymon, fast inputting speed and easy to learn and master.
