Abstract

The invention relates to a circuit interrupter device, comprising: a phase line circuit interrupter, which is configured to interrupt a conduction path of the phase line circuit interrupter if a sensor of the phase line circuit interrupter detects a fault; and a neutral line interrupter configured to interrupt a conductive path of the neutral line interrupter if a sensor of the neutral line interrupter detects a fault; wherein the phase line interrupter and the neutral line interrupter are configured to: interrupt a respective conduction path independently of the other line interrupter if a respective fault is detected; and the phase line interrupter and the neutral line interrupter are configured to trigger the respective other line interrupter to interrupt the current path of the respective other line interrupter if a fault is detected by one of the line interrupters.
