Abstract

The present disclosure provides a driven height adjustable optical table or workstation and an assembly thereof for use in microscopes, optical research laboratories, and similar environments. The height-adjustable design comprises a fixed part and a movable part, the fixed part and the movable part are combined together to form a rigid height-adjustable tabletop structure, and an optical test plate or a similar platform is mounted on the worktable structure through an optional rigid passive or active vibration isolation mounting part. The height adjustment is performed by a plurality of compact actuators with associated control hardware and software and allows a user or application system to operate the table at any height.
