Abstract

The present invention provides topical personal care compositions for improving cellular energy efficiency by protecting the skin from mitochondrial fragmentation occurring in an aged individual in need thereof. The present invention also provides the use of a topical personal care composition comprising nicotinamide and S-adenosine-L-methionine.
