The multi-tenant database system is divided into three layers: a database driving layer, a database conversion layer and a database storage layer, the database storage layer is provided with a plurality of database instance storage spaces containing different data models and tenant metadatabase instances; the database conversion layer mainly comprises two functional entities: a data model conversion module and a database management monitoring module; the database management monitoring module comprises a manager and a monitor; the manager has the functions of tenant demand management and database instance space management; the monitor has a database instance monitoring function and a tenant data monitoring function; the data model conversion module adopts data thermal migration; the database driving layer mainly comprises a data query rewriting module which provides a query rewriting function for data query applied by tenants.
