Abstract

The invention provides a centrifugal fan and a window air conditioner with the same. The centrifugal fan comprises a volute and a centrifugal fan body arranged in the volute. The volute is provided with a fan air inlet and a fan air outlet. The centrifugal fan body is configured to promote air to flow from the fan air inlet to the fan air outlet. The fan air outlet is arranged to be opened in the thickness direction of the volute. The volute side wall, far away from the fan air outlet, of the volute comprises a flat plate part and a protruding part which is arched towards the direction far away from the fan air outlet relative to the flat plate part, so that a concave cavity is formed in the volute to increase the air storage volume of a volute air duct, the air supply amount of the centrifugal fan is remarkably increased under the condition that noise is hardly increased, and the centrifugal fan is particularly suitable for the window air conditioner with high requirements for the size of occupied space and the air volume.
