The invention discloses an excrement recognition method and device and a computer readable storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining video data which comprises a plurality of frames of to-be-recognized images; processing the to-be-recognized image to obtain at least one to-be-detected target; detecting and identifying the to-be-detected target to obtain feature information, the feature information including information of a target pet and information of a target owner; when the target pet generates excrement, generating feedback information to give an alarm, wherein the feedback information comprises information of the target pet corresponding to the excrement and information of a target owner corresponding to the target pet. By means of the mode, the alarm can be given when the pet generates excrement, and related personnel can conveniently clean the excrement of the pet in time.
