The invention relates to a crude sulfur dehydration and purification process which comprises the following steps: putting crude sulfur into a vacuum distillation furnace, and removing moisture in the crude sulfur to form a crude sulfur solid; mixing the crude sulfur solid with kerosene, and then putting the mixture into a stirring box; connecting a vacuum suction filter, carrying out suction filtration on the solution in the stirring box, filtering out impurities in the stirring box, and reserving elemental sulfur dissolved in kerosene; and conducting cooling and crystallizing to crystallize and separate out elemental sulfur dissolved in kerosene. A central control unit is connected with a liquid level height gauge, a valve arranged on the kerosene pipeline and the stirring device arranged in the stirring box separately, crude sulfur solid and kerosene are stirred at different stirring speeds, and in the stirring process, the change of the liquid level height is detected in real time.
