Abstract

The invention provides a cross polarization interference cancellation method for a dual-polarization satellite data receiving system based on intermediate frequency. The method comprises the following steps: the dual-polarization satellite data receiving system converting two received channel signals into digital signals; performing digital down-conversion on the converted digital signal to obtain a digital zero intermediate frequency signal; performing low-pass filtering on the digital zero intermediate frequency signals of the two channels respectively; dividing each signal after low-pass filtering into a branch and sending the branch to an intermediate-frequency transverse equalizer of another channel; forming a compensation signal with the same frequency characteristic as the interference signal by using an intermediate frequency transverse equalizer; and subtracting the compensation signal output by the transverse filter from the main signal, and outputting a cancelled signal, thereby completing cross polarization interference cancellation. According to the scheme, good cancellation performance can be obtained under the conditions of frequency difference and phase difference of two paths of signals and inconsistent code rates of the two paths of signals, and meanwhile, the method can effectively adapt to the condition of large cross polarization interference.
