Abstract

The invention discloses an early potato water-saving irrigation technology. In the whole growth period, the watering quantity is controlled to be 110 m<3> / mu; segmented watering is performed; concretely, 16.5 m<3> / mu of watering is performed at 50-percent seedling emergence; 22 m<3> / mu of watering is performed at 50-percent squaring of plants; 27.5 m<3> / mu of watering is performed when plants start to bloom; 27.5 m<3> / mu of watering is performed when 50-percent plants bloom; 16.5 m<3> / mu of watering is performed when 50-percent plants are out of bloom; reasonable and proper-quantity irrigationis performed according to the growth characteristics and water requiring conditions of early potatoes in each period; the irrigation process is improved; the irrigation frequency is controlled, so that the irrigation water has the maximum utilization rate, and the conformance to the points of the growth period is realized; and under other normal conditions of management, the per mu yield of the early potatoes is not reduced. Compared with that of ordinary furrow irrigation watering, the water consumption reduction per mu can reach 30 percent or higher.
