The method comprises the steps of acquiring infrared radiation data of a target group by using infrared detection equipment within a preset distance range; performing average value operation on the infrared radiation signals corresponding to each target individual in the target group contained in the infrared radiation data to obtain an average value of the infrared radiation signals of the target group; performing difference operation on the infrared radiation signal corresponding to each target individual and the average value of the infrared radiation signals to obtain a radiation difference corresponding to each target individual; and judging whether a target individual of which the corresponding radiationdifference value exceeds a preset threshold range exists in the target group, and if so, determining that the target individual of which the corresponding radiation difference value exceeds the preset threshold range is an individual with abnormal body temperature. According to the method, errors generated by the external environment on screening of individuals with abnormal body temperature areeliminated, and the operation process is simple.
