Abstract

The water heater comprises a water mixing valve, a water storage tank and a heating element, wherein the water mixing valve is provided with a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet which communicate with each other; and hot water flows into the water mixing valve through the first inlet and flows out of a water outlet of the water heater from the outlet.One end of the water storage tank is connected with a water inlet of the water heater, and the other end of the water storage tank is connected with the second inlet through a first control valve. Theheating element is arranged on the water storage tank and used for heating water in the water storage tank, so that the water temperature in the water storage tank is higher than a first preset temperature. A first temperature sensor is arranged at the first inlet, and when the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor is lower than the first preset temperature, a first control valve is opened. Therefore, when the water heater is started, the water temperature of the first inlet is lower than the first preset temperature, hot water with higher temperature can be injected into the second inlet of the water mixing valve through the water storage tank, the water outlet temperature of the water outlet of the water heater is improved, and the temperature is prevented from being toolow.
