Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of lightning positioning of power transmission and distribution lines of power systems, and particularly relates to a lightning overvoltage fault positioning method. In an electric power system, a positioning method for generating a fault after a power transmission and distribution line is struck by lightning has the problem of low measurement precision. According to the lightning overvoltage fault positioning method, the method comprises the steps that: a plurality of distributed voltage monitoring sensors are used for monitoring a line state; whenthe sensors judge that lightning overvoltage occurs, the monitored voltage characteristic data are uploaded to a background positioning host, the acquired data are extracted and analyzed by the background host, and the lightning strike point position of the line is judged by utilizing the phase transmission characteristic of a first overvoltage signal generated when the line is subjected to lightning strike relative to the power frequency voltage of the system in each period. The lightning stroke position of the power transmission and distribution line is accurately positioned by combining pulse signal injection and lightning stroke overvoltage phase transmission and transformation characteristics.
