A control strategy combining passive control and sliding mode control is adopted; when a systemstate is in a sliding mode region, sliding mode variable structure control is adopted; and when the system state enters a sliding mode switching area, the sliding mode variable structure control is switched to the passive control. The method comprises the following steps of 1, establishing a mathematical model of an interconnected dual-machine power system according to a kinetic equation; 2, simplifying the mathematical model in the step 1 to obtain a simplified model; 3, converting the simplified mathematical model in the step 2 into a standard form; 4, designing a passivity control function;5, designing a sliding mode control function; and 6, designing a switching function based on the step 4 and the step 5.
