The invention discloses a document version automatic generation method based on editing behavior intelligent prediction. The document version automatic generation method comprises the steps: S1, writing a notice into an operating system registration file; S2, triggering a document editing action, setting the state of an editing task to be opened and adding a unique identifier to the document; S3,calling a document processing program, opening the document, and positioning a document editing window; S4, detecting whether an unreleased file handle exists in the operating system or not, if yes, indicating that the document is being edited, and if not, executing the step S5; S5, performing image recognition on the document editing window, and determining whether a unique identifier exists in the document editing window or not: if the unique identifier does not exist, setting the state of the editing task as finished, and automatically adding a new version to the document; and if the uniqueidentifier exists, returning to the step S4.
