Abstract

The invention relates to user equipment for satellite communication. The user equipment capable of performing satellite communication according to the present disclosure comprises: one or more processing circuits configured to perform the following operations: evaluating a transmission power demand for communication between the user equipment and a satellite; when the transmitting power constraintof the user equipment cannot meet the transmitting power requirement; assisting, by the auxiliary device, the user device to perform at least a portion of the communication with the satellite, wherein the processing circuit is further configured to acquire, via the satellite, a communication mode to be switched to, and wherein the processing circuit transmits, to the satellite, a notification indicating that a current communication mode needs to be switched, the notification including information indicating that the communication mode needs to be switched to a communication mode satisfying atransmission power requirement.
