Abstract

The invention provides a method for identifying self-organizing critical characteristics of an air traffic system. In order to reveal an internal dynamics mechanism of flight delay and flight cancel from a global perspective, characteristic analysis is carried out on the air traffic system. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, researching the extensive dissipativity of an air trafficsystem, the scale-frequency power law characteristics of flight delay and flight cancel and the Hurst index of the scale-frequency power law characteristics; then, judging management levels of flightdelay and flight cancel by adopting a power law characteristic straight slope; and finally, according to the Hurst index, analyzing the flight delay of the system, and cancelling the correlation andevolution rule of the flight in the self-organizing critical state. Results show that the air traffic system has self-organizing criticality, the management level of system flight delay is superior tothat of flight cancellation, and flight delay and flight cancel have time long-range correlation and are shown as negative evolution and positive evolution respectively.
