Abstract

The welding bead residual stress eliminating device comprises a magnetic base, a mechanical arm and an ultrasonic impact head, wherein the ultrasonic impact head is hinged to a first end of a mechanical arm, and a second end of the mechanical arm is hinged to a magnetic seat. The method comprises the following steps of A, aligning the head of the ultrasonic impact head to a to-be-repaired part of a workpiece; B, opening the magnetic seat, and enabling the magnetic seat to be adsorbed nearby the workpiece; C, adjusting the mechanical arm and the ultrasonic impact head to rotate to a position far away from the to-be-repaired position; D, starting cold welding repair equipment, and carrying out welding repair on the workpiece; E, aligning the head of the ultrasonic impact head to the surface of a welding bead of the workpiece after welding repair is completed, enabling the ultrasonic impact head applying pressure to the welding bead, and fixing the mechanical arm and the ultrasonic impact head; and F, starting the ultrasonic impact head so as to enable the ultrasonic impact head carrying out residual stress elimination of the welding bead, and repeating the above steps.
