Abstract

The present invention discloses a terminal-based pedestrian positioning method and pedestrian positioning device. The method comprises: acquiring an initial position and an initial heading angle of apedestrian; identifying a real-time posture of a pedestrian carrying terminal; based on a preset correspondence, performing coordinate system conversion on acceleration data of a carrier coordinate system, and setting the axial acceleration or the acceleration modulus of the coordinate system corresponding to the real-time posture as the reference acceleration; preprocessing the reference acceleration, screening the preprocessed reference acceleration by using the peak detection algorithm, and collecting statistics of the number of steps of the pedestrian according to the screened peak; determining the step size and the heading offset of the pedestrian; and determining the target position of the pedestrian according to the number of steps, the step size and the heading offset, the initialposition, and the initial heading angle. According to the technical scheme of the present invention, the accuracy of counting the number of steps can be improved, the positioning accuracy of the pedestrian can be improved, and the technical scheme has high practical application value especially for indoor positioning and navigation.
