Abstract

The invention provides a method for accelerating germination of seed potatoes. The method comprises the following steps that full and health high-quality potatoes with uniform shape and more bud eyesare selected as the seed potatoes; (2) the seed potatoes are washed with a hydrogen peroxide solution with the mass concentration of 3%, are dried in the shade, are put into a basket and are stored ina refrigeration house with the temperature of 0-3 DEG C, and after 30-40 days, the temperature is increased to 8-17 DEG C; (3) after the temperature is increased, the seed potatoes are taken out, aresprayed with a liquid reagent once every 2 hours at the temperature of 18-20 DEG C and are repeatedly sprayed 3-4 times; and (4) the seed potatoes sprayed by the liquid reagent are cut into blocks bykeeping away from the bud eyes, are poured into plant ash soil for uniform turning and are transferred into sandy soil to accelerate germination at normal temperature. The method has the advantages of being simple, high in germination rate and good in effect.
