Abstract

The invention relates to an opening control system (4) for a door (2) of a motor vehicle. The system (4) includes: a housing (8); a handle (6) movable relative to the housing (8); a motor (18) that retracts or extends the handle; a computer (22) configured to control the motor (18) and switches from standby mode to active mode when the handle (6) is moved. When the handle (6) moves relative to the housing (8), the motor (18) generates a wake-up voltage. The computer (22) is configured to switch from the standby mode to the active mode when it receives a wake-up voltage generated by the electric motor (18). Wake-up is valid only when the wake-up voltage reaches a threshold S of 5mV.
