According to the range extender control method and device, the computer readable storage medium and the vehicle, the driving habits and daily driving conditions of a driver can be analyzed by counting the daily trip characteristic dataof the vehicle and inputting the data to an electric quantity consumption prediction model, and the power consumption condition is predicted on the basis of the driving habits and the daily driving conditions. Because the power generation capacity of the range extender is related to the speed of the vehicle, the allowable power generation condition of the range extender can be predicted, and the range extender is controlled to be started at appropriate time in combination with the acquired initial remaining electric quantity, so that an operation control strategy and related control parametersof the range extender are more reasonably optimized.
