Abstract

The invention discloses a similar picture recognition method and a computer device, belonging to the technical field of image processing. The method comprises: obtaining n first local regions having affine invariant properties of the first picture and m second local regions having affine invariant properties of the second picture, then, the first eigenvalues corresponding to n first local regionsand the second eigenvalues corresponding to m second local regions are obtained, and whether the first picture and the second picture are similar or not is identified according to the comparison results of the n first eigenvalues and the m second eigenvalues. By extracting a plurality of local regions with affine invariant property in a picture, the invention converts the comparison of two pictures into the comparison of eigenvalues of two groups of local regions, thereby enabling the similar picture recognition method to have good anti-clipping property, and improving the recognition accuracyof the similar picture while improving the detection dimension.
