Abstract
The invention discloses a mobile edge computing method in an Internet of vehicles. The method comprises the steps that a vehicular terminal sends a data packet to a mobile edge computing server through a base station; and S2, the mobile edge computing server judges whether the data packet is Internet of vehicles data or not, if the data packet is not the Internet of vehicles data, the data packetis sent to a core network for processing, if the data packet is the Internet of vehicles data, the mobile edge computing server processes the data packet and then sends processed data to the specificvehicular terminal through the base station. Through utilization of the method and the system, the problem that in the Internet of vehicles, network delay is excessively high and network load is excessively high is solved; through deployment of the mobile edge computing server to a convergence machine room and through utilization of a traffic offload function on the server, forwarding to differentdestination addresses is carried out for different types of data; and the Internet of vehicles information is processed at a network edge, so network quality is improved.
