Abstract

The mechanism comprises a conveying belt for conveying reconstituted tobacco, mounting seats arranged ontwo sides of the conveying belt, a rotary shaft rotationally connected between the mounting seats on the two sides and arranged above the conveying belt in a spanning manner, a plurality of hobs sleeving the rotary shaft, a support plate arranged at the conveying tail end of the conveying belt and used for supporting reconstituted tobacco cut by the hobs as well as a roller cutter rotationally arranged at the outer end of the support plate and used for cutting off the reconstituted tobacco extending out of the support plate for certain length; the conveying belt comprises rollers distributedon front and back sides of the mounting seats and multiple belts which are spaced and arranged in parallel and sleeve the rollers, and each hob is inserted in a gap between two adjacent belts. The shredding efficiency of the reconstituted tobacco can be improved, the production cost can be reduced, the equipment structure composition can be simplified, and the processing technology can be simplified.
