Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent power-saving method for a terminal. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring an IP lease time duration corresponding to an IP address connected to WIFI of the terminal; judging whether the IP lease time duration is smaller than or equal to a preset threshold; judging whether the terminal meets a preset condition; and when the terminal meets the preset condition and the IP lease time duration is smaller than or equal to the preset threshold, removing a first lease process. By means of the method, the number of times of awakening the WIFI, an AP processor and a screen can be effectively reduced, so that the power consumption of the terminal is saved, and the endurance time is longer. The invention further provides the terminal, wherein theterminal comprises a processor and a memory which are electrically connected to each other, the processor is used for executing the method at work, and the memory is used for storing a processor workexecution result and program data of the method. The invention further provides a device with a storage function, the program data is stored in the storage device, and when the program data is executed, the method is realized.
