The detecting system is characterized in that the structured light controller, a reflecting mirror center and the CCD camera are all arranged on the central axis of the mounting sleeve; the distance between the structured light controller and the CCD camera is a specific value; structured light irradiates the surface of the cylinder inner wall to generate diffuse reflection; reflected light spots and an object in a current view field are jointly formed on the CCD camera; the light spots are imaged as one high-brightness line segment, and other backgrounds are imagedas data with lower brightness; an optical signal can be converted into an electrical signal; the high-brightness line segment formed through light spot mapping is acquired by a computer, the mass center of the high-brightness line segment is calculated, and further the to-be-detected distance is calculated.
