Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of liquid crystal display and discloses a liquid crystal lens and a control method thereof and liquid crystal glasses. In one embodiment, the liquid crystal lens includes a liquid crystal layer and an electrode structure. The electrode structure is used for controlling liquid crystal molecules of corresponding regions in the liquid crystal layer to be deflected differently when different voltages are applied to electrodes in the electrode structure. The electrodes in the electrode structure are annularly arranged and divided into two or more sectors, and each sector comprises at least one sector electrode ring. The electrode structure is controlled to be in a structure that the number of the sector electrode rings capable of driving the liquid crystal molecules in the corresponding regions in the liquid crystal layer to be deflected in at least one sector is greater than the number of the sector electrode rings capable of driving the liquidcrystal molecules of the corresponding regions in the liquid crystal layer to be deflected in the remaining sectors when astigmatism compensation is required.
